When you apply for private matchmaking, we may collect the following information:

• Account and contact information: your name, email address, phone number, age, city, and gender.
• Profile information: relationship goals, values, faith, family intentions, lifestyle details, preferences, photos, and other details you choose to provide during onboarding.
• Payment information: payment references and transaction status processed through our payment partners. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
• Matchmaking activity: expressed interest, mutual matches, introductions made, guided compatibility sessions scheduled or completed, and outcomes recorded to improve future introductions.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, and general usage data necessary to operate the service securely.

We use your information solely to provide and improve the matchmaking service:

• Screen applications and verify that members are genuine and eligible
• Prepare compatibility profiles and curate introductions
• Facilitate the guided private compatibility session and any follow-up
• Process payments and confirm your package
• Send transactional notifications about your own account or matches
• Respond to support requests, safety reports and account enquiries
• Maintain service security and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email, newsletters or promotional campaigns.

Confidentiality is the core of this service. Your details are not published, not browsable by the public, and not visible to other members by default.

Your contact details may be released to another member only when all of the following are true:

• You and the other member have both expressed genuine, mutual interest
• Both members hold an active, paid package
• The guided private compatibility session has taken place
• Both parties remain interested after that session and have agreed to the exchange

Where a package includes facilitation, a member of our team may contact you directly as part of the compatibility session before any contact details are exchanged.

We send transactional email only — messages triggered by activity on your own account or matchmaking process. These include confirmations, session scheduling, and notifications that a member has indicated interest in you.

Emails are sent to the address you provide. By applying, you consent to receive these account-related notifications. We never send bulk marketing email and we do not share your email address with third parties for advertising.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share information only:

• With a matched member: only as described in Section 3, and only with your agreement.
• With service providers: trusted providers who help us operate the service, including secure hosting and content delivery (Amazon Web Services), payment processing, and email delivery. They process data only as needed to perform their services.
• With our own team: the matchmakers and concierge staff who screen, curate, and facilitate, including during the guided compatibility session.
• For legal reasons: where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our members.

Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Access is limited to the team members who need it to run the matchmaking process. Photos and profile material are stored with access controls and are never publicly indexed.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please keep any credentials you receive confidential.

We retain your account, profile and matchmaking records for as long as your membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, safety and operational purposes. If you would like your records deleted, contact us at info@marggieslovelounge.com.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing (account-related transactional emails are required to use the service)

This service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that an applicant or member is under 18, we will remove the record and deactivate the membership.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
